Great Sicilian style cuisine in an authentic rustic setting.

Visited the bake bar on Sunday morning. If you are staying anywhere in Fort Lauderdale or surrounding area then please come here. Ample parking out front. Great welcome, coffee and freshly made breakfasts in our case made by the owner. Great hospitality And you will be back for either lunch or evening meals as they look fabulous.

A Great find. Very cozy... Very good food and very attentive staff. It was a pleasure to eat there, but unfortunately we are leaving Fort Lauderdale. But will definitely return on our next trip.

Outstanding food and service. Angelo is an amazing host! He described the mouth-watering specials in great detail and then offered to make my partner an off-menu dish, a most amazing steak with mushrooms in the most flavorful sauce. Everything is homemade and fresh, amazing pasta. Do not miss this place! Graci Angelo and staff for a wonderful experience!

My husband and I went there for dinner tonight. There were only 3 tables occupied including ourselves. The owner went out of his way to make sure the other 2 tables were happy and comfortable and totally ignored us. After spending almost $100 I think that he could have at least asked if we enjoyed our meal. And I must say that the meal wasn’t really that good. It was average and way too expensive for pasta. He claims the pasta is homemade but it didn’t taste any different from boxed pasta. I think he should rename his restaurant The Fake Bar.

Just left The Bake Bar . The food was amazing ! Homemade Pasta and several sauces to choose from. Excellent specials. I had Chilean Sea Bass.. We thought we would give this cute little quaint Italian place a shot and we were so pleasantly surprised!! We found a jewel!! A must go!!

I’ve finally found a true Italian restaurant in S. Fl. Fresh and authentic everything, delicious! Cooked to perfection. Kinda feel like I’m in Italy. I cringe to write this review only because I’m selfish and don’t want to wait to be seated the next time I come here.

Excellent food! Very small restaurant inside...perfect for a date. There owner, waiter, and kitchen staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Find presentation was beautiful and serving portions are huge.I will absolutely return many times more.

The best pasta in USA. I am in love with this small home restaurant. They definitely know how to cook it. Today was my first visit and I can say for sure that I’ll return here for more delicious food.

Don’t see what all the rave reviews are about - this place seems to open/close on no real schedule except whims of owner/management. We visited several times and find it to be overpriced and nothing very exceptional. Tons of better Italian places nearby with way better food (Dal Contadino - 0.3 mile) is just one of several.

We went to Florence a few months ago and wanted to taste good Italian food again. The Bake Bar had it and the owner also had the Italian charm we missed as well. Thank you for a great meal!

This place is no doubt one of the tastiest place in the neighborhood. Every time I come to this place I am absolutely pleased. They always keep their high standard service and the highest level of cooking they offer. You always win with this place. Very recommended.

Excellent. Love the Eggplant Caponata it was the best I’ve ever had. I have been looking a long time for a good Sicilian meatball and they have it. Service was very welcoming. Be back again soon.

Me and my boss came here and had the best pasta we ever had. I recommend for you to come here if your looking for some real Italian food. You will not regret it .

What can I say about this quaint and cozy Italian restaurant? From the moment we entered into the restaurant we were greeted by the owner who was very pleasant and treated us like we were family. This is true authentic Italian food! One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious. We have been here twice and everything we’ve had on the menu has been amazing.

Outstanding authentic Italian cuisine. The owner/chef, Luca came out and sat down with us and chatted when he had some free time. You rarely get to experience a place like this. I had the Branzino. It was breaded and cooked to perfection. My wife had the gnocchi with a simple red sauce. They were potato based gnocchi and Luca explained to us his process for keeping them light. We would give 10 stars if there were.

A very unique French restaurant! They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. I stopped in for an espresso and a pastry - almond croissant and very delicious I might add. The atmosphere music made me feel like was in France with French music and European flare. They have a great wine selection which would go well for lunch and dinner. bon appetit!

This quaint little Italian restaurant has amazing food and five star service.. The chicken marsala was probably the best I've ever had. Their homemade pasta is absolutely amazing. The sauce is made from scratch. And the chef even comes out to see how your meal is.

I have visited some places around. And I definitely recomend this place. Food cooked with love. Good for breakfast and lunch. I will come back :) Home atmosphere.

Food was amazing. We all ordered different things and shared. Each dish was delicious! A must when in South Florida!

Delicious eggplant, although no side of pasta..and then charged me 3 bucks for bottled water blamed it on the water issue, unfortunately, won't go back due to poor management...food was delicious owners response was a lie, I came in a 10 of 3 and asked if they were closed, and told no problem. Not that no one was there to take care of me, that's complete BS. SO no good deed goes unturned right? Food great but!!

This restaurant came very close to the ultimate ding experiences that I had Hostaria Antica Roma On the Appian Way in Rome. The service was exceptional / warm and you’re left feeling family. The homemade’s are light and the gravy flavorful. Hands-down the best cup of coffee I have had in the States. Looking forward to booking again, Denise, Tom and Liz

We stop to have pastries and they were so good, different and the the presentation was outstanding. We’ll come back for lunch or dinner. They have a variety of plates. It’s like being at home. 🇮🇹

Excellent home cooked food

They have fabulous, authentic Sicilian food. The owner is Sicilian and prepared everything just like my Sicilian mother would! The location is in a strip mall, and we never knew they were here, but we discovered them tonight and were not disappointed. We will certainly be back for another fabulous meal.

The soup was homemade and amazing. The ham and cheese omelette was not quite what I expected. Likely an Italian version so that might make it amazing as well had I expected that. Angelo was kind, accommodating and a gentleman.
